Overal is had a wonderful stay, i would definitely recomend this hotel.

We slept wonderfully in the quietness of the place, and we had very relaxing days, we just used to go out to go to the beautiful beach (5min walking), we had everything we needed inside: a stunning restaurant literally in the giant and old baobab tree, where wood and illumination result in a perfect ambience to have dinner. The food was everyday fresh and delicious, very well prepared and served by the nicest staff ever! To burn the calories we used to go to the gym and meet with the resident little monkey, Mr. Bob! :) we had so much fun! To relax, we had some card games, domino, with the pool bar close to have a fresh drink. Finally, a word to Aisha the massage lady (yes, they also provide massage service!): we loved your work and thank you for relaxing us so much! :) For the owners, Sophie & Eric: we are very lucky to have been in your beautiful lodge and having the chance to meet you! Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

Only one thing i didnt like, annoying beach boys, not all of them but 90%! Selling souvenirs and later offering marijuana xD bit pushy and they are following mostly all people! -.- If you don't mind cold shower, being without electricity for few hours, having lizards in room, hundred bites of mosquito, goats and cows all over the village, go for Zanzibar! It's really good for charging batteries, clearing your mind and to see how life is simple and what is truly happiness! Tasty fresh food! <3 Tanzania will see me again for sure, hakuna matata!

Teško je Jambiani nazvati nazvati gradom. Zapravo to je selo na jugo-zapadnoj tački ostrva Zanzibar. Čoveku se može, pri dolasku, učiniti da dolazi na najprljavije i bednije mesto na planeti (mislim pri tome na celo ostrvo) ali to je zapravo slučaj sa čitavom Afrikom . Jer van hotela koji su uvek na izuzetno lepim i fotogeničnim lokacijama , caruju jad i beda afričke svakodnevnice . Tako da ako imate “mek” stomak u Africi i nemate baš šta da tražite !

Vrlo nam se svidio bazen, ležaljke u vrtu. Hrana je iznad prosjeka za Zanzibar zahvaljujući vrlo dobrom kuharu koji meni mijenja svaki dan. Hotel je izravno na plaži. Vrlo dobra cappucino pili smo u kafiću odmah do hotela. Kao i na većini Zanzibara kad je niska plima plivanje je otežano, gotovo nemoguće. U tim trenucima ono što nas je oduševilo je pješčani sprud koji se pokazuje za niske plime i do kojeg smo pješačili 200 m kroz plićak i tamo se onda kupali.

We were very happy with the staff, who was always very kind and able to manage every situation. We also had a problem with our visa due to the airport personnel inefficiencies and the hotel management were able to support us and solve the situation. The hotel is on a beautiful beach, food was great (both breakfast and dinner), good gym with technogym machinery. we absolutely recommend Bluebay.

Everything was great, the resort looks better than in pictures. For us what stood out was the food, best food out of any other 5 star resort we stayed at. The italian chef did wonders, the fruits were amazing, the desserts were amazing. As a fan of panna cotta I ate here better panna cotta than in Italy.

Everything! I can’t fault it. Starting from the gate, very warm welcome. Made me and my wife feel and get in tune with the happy mood. Preparing for the wedding we always had very good contact with all the teams from the hotel: Front Office (thanks to Belinda and Lilian)/ Booking Dpt., Accounts Dpt. Planning the wedding together with Lilian was super convenient! We don't have enough words to describe how happy we are about our wedding weekend and the incredible support we were given from the stuff ot the Hotel Karafuu Zanzibar. We can strongly recommend having a wedding at Karafuu and we are already planning for a future anniversary party. Some reasons for that.... - Our wedding planner Lilian with her co-workers really tried everything in their power to help us have the best possible wedding event. We really loved our wedding ceremony on the beach! Thanks to our very kind witnesses Lilian and Mosquito! - The perfect tropical beach lined by palm trees is spacious and nice for walking. During the low tide you can reach the sea via a jetty/path and go for a swim or you can get a sand Bank via boat. - The hotel area is amazing, very spacious, with pools, several restaurants and surroundings. We booked a bungalow on the beach and felt here like being in Paradise! - Our favorite restaurant is Le Grand Bleu with breathtaking ocean view! Special thanks for the stuff - we really enjoyed every meal & communication here! We also loved to spend our time at Zanzi bar, even red colobus come around ;) - There is a lovely beach shop at resort. and a very good jewellery boutique. The prizes are ok and the saleswomen is very friendly and well qualified.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. I was offered late checkout and could use the hotel facilities before my late flight - it made my stay very enjoyable and easy!

Beautiful hotel; very instagrammable! Probably the most picture perfect beach hotel I’ve been to so far. Great place to relax. Good food at the restaurant and good vibe. Friendly owners and staff. Just a 5-10 minutes walk on the beach to The Rock, and a short taxi-ride to Paje and Kae Funk beach bar for the sunset.
